Pressing On

I almost displayed an extreme lapse of judgement.
I originally was going to bless you with a photo of the mouse intestines that L-boy handed to me today.
Thanks to our very resourceful cat.
Talk about a "you know you're a mom" moment.
Or more like a "disgusting, throw up in your mouth" moment!
However, on second thought....I decided to spare you the gory details.

Instead....I thought I'd share this moment with you.
Because it made me feel all warm and fuzzy.
We walk down the road to fetch the mail every evening.
I say "fetch"  because I'm pretending to be Laura Ingalls.
Pushing L-boy's stroller down the hill is a breeze.
The kids often fight over who gets to do it.
But when her "fickle" older brothers are nowhere to be found on the way back up...

This "little mommy" digs in and gets the job done.

L-boy is one blessed little dude!

And I am one blessed mother.

I'm joining in with Arizona Mamma and The Long Road to China today.
How about it....
can I tempt you to do the same??

Oh, thank you for sparing us that. Now I don't have to do the payback with the post on the "gift" my son left me in my purse 85 years ago.

Sweet photos! The B/W really work well here.

Awwww. Love the S girl. And am I wrong or is she tall? Maybe it's just the picture, but her legs look so long compared to her Guiping buddy, Maya. Of course, Maya never wears pants, so maybe the skirts cutting her off halfway just make her look shrimpy.

And speaking of her, man, has she gotten feisty lately! Yesterday her sister said, "I miss the interferon." Yeah, me too. Give the girl a little medicated exhaustion and we're all the better!

Oh...sorry...
Thanks for sharing this morning ...

My life right now is surrounded by

to being more creative in full-color.

Loved your links up too ... I'll

I love that first picture. That is amazing!

Thank you for leaving the guts out of this. That is just icky.
Once when my hubby and I were first married my then indoor cat decided to catch a mouse in the garage, bring it in the house and leave it's head underneath the Christmas tree on top of a present. I guess it was the giving season!

What a clever and efficient way to participate in two memes on the same day! These are great black and whites. I do love that the little mommy pitches in to help. That doesn't look like an easy hill to push anything up.

You are right, I prefer the photos that were chosen over the guts of a mouse.
