Five Question Friday

My Little Life

1. Have you ever had a celeb sighting
Yep...John Stamos.(aka Uncle Jessie) We were at Disney land, just about to get on the Alice in Wonderland ride. As the little cars came to a stop, there he was, all snuggled up with a lovely blonde. I snapped a photo, discreetly of course. As he climbed out of the ride, I think he was a little surprised that not more people waved, or acknowledged him. But seriously, no one did! O.K. I will admit.
I was a Full House fan.
So there.

John Stamos

2. What temperature do you keep your house?

During the winter, our house is about 202 degrees!! We have a wood burning fire-place insert which pumps out the heat! We seriously have to open the windows. During the summer, we keep it at 72 degrees.

3. Do you notice dust at other peoples homes?

Dust??? Nope!
P.S. Did you know that 80% of house dust is made of dead skin cells sloughed from the bodies of the ones you love?

Can you imagine how dusty the Duggars house must be??

4. What's the worst job you ever had?

My very first job out of nursing school. I was charge R.N. at a drug and alcohol detox and rehab center. Yep...I was only 23 years old. As you can imagine...everyone took me seriously! I was very effective! ha I was the only staff member who was not a recovering addict. That job was not even the tiniest bit fun. I was shaking in my boots most of the time. Try finding a vain in a drug addict! Yep, I was in over my head. I have no idea why they hired me, and nearly died of a heart attack when they made me "charge" R.N. on duty. The final straw was when one of my favorite nurse co-workers relapsed and stole Vicodin. I had to take a urine sample from all of the staff on duty. She helped me with the procedure being that I had not had to do that yet. Imagine my shock when I arrived to work the next week and she was fired! One of the best things I've done is QUIT THAT JOB.

5. What is your most sentimental possession?

I have an old wool sweater that my dad wore in highschool. I use to wear it in highschool, too. You know, back when "baggy" was all the rage! I'm not sure why I keep it. But everytime I clean out my closet, I fold it up nicely and put it back on the shelf. I love my Dad.

I'm coming to your blog through 5QF and McLinky. I laughed SO hard about your skin cell comment. Maybe we all shouldn't dust because we'd be getting rid of a little part of our loved ones! lol Thanks for making me chuckle.

I am SO jealous you saw Uncle Jessie!! I'm not going to confirm it or anything but there may be a chance I still stop on Full House if it is on TV. Just sayin. :)
