Commitment

Commitment - a message that makes a pledge

They were married in 1943.

grandparents
Dedication- a devoting or setting aside for a particular purpose. Self-sacrifice.
granparents 2
Faithful- Adhering firmly and devotedly, as to a person, cause, or idea; loyal.
Having or full of faith.
Worthy of trust or belief; reliable.
Consistent

They raised 10 children.
Nurtured 45 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Remained faithful to eachother for 66 years.
My grandpa went "home" to be with his Lord and Saviour in October 2009.
But his legacy lives on.
May we remain faithful to Christ, and to each other.
For Christ's sake.
And for Grandpa's sake.

Don't forget Mom n' Me Monday. Post a picture of you and one or all of your kids. Really. That's it. You don't even have to write a thing if you don't want to. But you are welcome to write a book if you like. We just want to see "YOU" in the picture. It's easy. It really is.

And because I reserve the right to be random here at the Peanut Gallery, listen to this song by Kristene Mueller today.
I'm pretty sure it will encourage you.
Thanks!

Julie, I love what you wrote about your grandparents. That is a wonderful legacy to have left behind. He was a very hansome man, by the way! I bet he was a real "looker" in his day ;)
