Burnt toast...

Or Durango!!
car

Guess which song is dancing through my head right now?

I fell in to a burning ring of fire
I went down,down,down
and the flames went higher.
And it burns,burns,burns
the ring of fire
the ring of fire.

The good news: My dear man was not hurt in any way.
The bad news: She quit moving and began to smoke on a narrow, steep, hillside road.
The good news: D-man unhooked his trailer and, with all his manly power, pushed it away from the car. He had just emptied his trailer of all of his tools and saws because he was going to pick up a load of doors.
The bad news: All of those tools were in his Durango.
The good news: A kindly passerby stopped and helped him rescue the tools.
The bad news: The smoking engine exploded into a ball of fire, flames practically licking the sky. Or so D-man says!
The good news: The firemen came and did their job.
The bad news: D-man is sporting singed nose-hairs and eyebrows.
The good news: I fabricated that last line of bad news!

On a much happier note, don't forget tomorrow is Mom n' Me Monday. I'll post a Mr. Mcklinky so we can all join in!! And remember, don't stress out. Any picture will do!! As long as you are in it! Share 1 or 100! It's up to you! Looking forward to seeing your lovely faces. Dad's are welcome, too.

So glad he wasn't hurt...we had the same experience with a car of ours...it just smoked and caught on fire one day. Not a fun experience!

That's just insane! An experience almost out of twilight zone or something.

I love your last fabricated bad news :) That cracked me up of course.

Any idea what caused it? We have a Durango just like that, except red. I am glad everyone was all right.
