We spent Saturday in downtown Vancouver. I'm not sure what I was thinking, but I left my 50mm 1.8 lens on my camera. That was my first mistake. I really missed the zoom capabilities. I had heard about the chain link fence around the Cauldrons, but didn't think about the 271 kazillion people that were going to be downtown on a Saturday. Needless to say, there were not many photo ops with the massive crowds and 7 children in tow! Oh well, you win some and you lose some. I lost.
So here is my shot. Almost all of them are pathetic. I'm sure the sweet lady in this picture was happy when I clicked this one. Isn't her little girl cute?
The tree adds a special touch too. Not sure why I didn't move over a bit.
Usually I don't even bother editing pictures that aren't that great to begin with. It's just too time consuming. But I thought I'd give it a try. I decided to crop the life right out of the picture. And then use that handy cloning tool and clone out that tree. CLONE. What a strange word. I rarely use this tool. It was late when I was working on this so please excuse the crooked crop.

Pixel Perfect has some great before and after photos today!
I'm hoping to get to my "final Olympic post" at some point today!
I'm sure you will be waiting with baited breath.
